Beldornii type dynamic ground density meter D-51.The Beldirnii type dynamic ground density meter (penetrometer) D-51 is produced in Latvia and is intended for the operational measurement of ground density without sampling of the soil. It is used to determine soil density in road construction, construction, embankment and other works where the physical condition of the soil is important.The density is assessed by the characteristic resistance value by hitting the hardened steel tapered work tip in the mass of the ground to be surveyed by means of a calibrated weight beat. Operating depth up to 30 cm.Application restrictions:The instrument is not applicable to soils with a particulate matter content greater than 25% by weight of the soil with particle size greater than 2 mm.
